- 2009 - Attended Canyon Springs High School in Moreno Valley, California before transfering to Martin Luther King High School for his junior year.
- 2010 - Went to San Diego State University where he averaged 12.7 points and 9.9 rebounds per game.
- 2011 - Drafted by the San Antonio Spurs with the 15th overall pick.
- 2014 - Won the NBA Championship with the San Antonio Spurs where he was awarded Finals MVP. He averaged 17.8 points on 61% shooting.
- 2015 - Won Defensive Player of the Year award.
